This workshop series is all about preparing for impact. Delivered by experienced trainers, topics are selected for relevance and value to the human services sector. Workshops are targeted at staff and volunteers.

Outcome Measurement Refresher Workshop
When: Wednesday, May 7, 2008

Cost: Free

This workshop is designed for those who have attended past Outcome Measurement workshops. This interactive workshop will cover the following topics: establishing stakeholder buy-in, developing program logic models, choosing indicators, developing measurement tools, dealing with implementation challenges (e.g., data collection & interpreting results), and communicating results.

Participants are encouraged to bring along a program logic model, data collection tool or outcome results to receive feedback from the program facilitators. This workshop will also offer the chance to discuss the challenges commonly encountered in completing Funding Reports, and to brainstorm solutions.

This two-day interactive workshop is intended for those who are new to outcome measurement.

In Part One, participants will learn how to build stakeholder buy-in and how to develop a program logic model. Participants will be given a logic model for a program of their choice, and will receive individualized, written feedback from the workshop facilitators.

In Part Two, participants will learn how to choose indicators, how to develop measurement tools, how to deal with implementation challenges (e.g., data collection & interpreting results), and how to communicate results. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss challenges commonly encountered in completing Funding Reports and brainstorm solutions.
