  • safety plans for five women who have been abused by their partners, improving their ability to start a new life free from violence.
  • an Elder Abuse Prevention workshop for 30 seniors, improving their safety and security.
  • 4 newcomers with a workplace training program to build office and administrative skills, improving their ability to obtain a job.

a lunch out

  • emotional support and options to a vulnerable senior experiencing abuse, enabling them to get out of the abusive situation.
  • information and assistance to support the settlement of 50 newcomer families and helps them begin productive lives in Canada.

  • a nutritious breakfast before school for 5 children for the entire school year, boosting their ability to learn and grow.
  • enrollment for 13 people to attend an eight-week parenting course, increasing their effectiveness as parents and improving family wellbeing.
  • one child with a caring adult mentor to provide guidance and friendship for 1 year at a critical time in the child’s life.

$50 per week

dinner for two

  • 12 seniors with one-year of congregate dining program to reduce their isolation and maintain their independence.
  • 12 families with grief counselling and support following the death of a loved one.
