Doubling the Impact!

A major kudos goes out to Rapport Youth and Family Services on the successful opening of their newly expanded ECLYPSE Youth Centre in Brampton!

The facility has doubled in size thanks to an expansion project that was 100% funded by United Way of Peel Region donors. United Way’s Shelley White and Ania Kordiuk were there to help cut the ribbon and officially open the centre.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel has seen great success with its recent partnership with United Way’s Black Community Advisory Council in the development of a unique mentoring program for black youth. This new program matches young people with positive mentors that they can relate to – individuals with similar experiences.

Mondelez Canada employees are nourishing the community

A sea of Mondelēz Canada volunteers filled Carl Laidlaw Orchards in Brampton to help nourish the community by picking apples. As part of the company’s global month of service taking place throughout the month of October, the volunteers packed 2,000 special snack bags that included the freshly picked apples.
