Happy Birthday, Mr. Hershey!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Hershey!

Milton Hershey grew up as a farm boy in the 1800s and never had the chance to get much in the way of a formal education. His legacy of philanthropy continues as Hershey Canada honoured his birthday by kicking off their United Way campaign.

Too many people are unable to access healthy food, especially food that is locally grown. Our most vulnerable citizens are surviving on poor quality food. As a result, their physical and mental health are being seriously eroded.
