United Way of Peel Region’s Loaned Representative Program is a unique professional, personal and community development experience for the leaders of tomorrow – your employees!

Loaned representatives are seconded for a 14-week* period to work with United Way. Under the management and guidance of United Way’s professional staff, they play a crucial role in supporting and inspiring many of the 300+ workplace campaigns in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga.

By participating, you give your employees the opportunity to experience your corporate social responsibility mandate in action. Our program also provides a great way to increase the profile of your organization and give your staff the opportunity to discover and develop untapped skills. The experience can inspire company pride, enhance your organization’s reputation in the community and play a role in recruiting and retaining the best talent for your organization.

Benefits to your organization

  • Professional coaching and training for your employee
  • Public recognition as a committed supporter of United Way
  • Positive exposure for your organization

Get Involved

Provide a Loaned Representative
Ideal candidates for the program are confident, self-reliant team players willing to take on new challenges. The diverse nature of workplaces that participate in the annual campaign ensure there are opportunities for people with varying skill sets and experiences.

Loaned Representative’s salary and benefits continue to be paid by their employer. Day-to-day management is the responsibility of United Way.

Provide financial support
If you wish to support the program but are unable to send us one of your employees for 14-weeks, you can provide a $10,000 sponsorship which enables us to hire an individual with specific skills to support our fundraising efforts on your behalf.
