United Way's national campaign video shows the social issues affecting our community and shows that your support is making a difference. United Way can bring lasting, positive change to all parts of Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga and build a stronger community for all of us.

This is the story of Wendy, a client of Caledon Community Services. Wendy has gone from poverty to possibility through the help of this United Way of Peel Region funded agency.

This is the story of Glen. Glen's life has been changed by a food bank called Knight's Table in Brampton. He overcame homelessness, drug addiction, and the loss of his parents through the support of this United Way of Peel Region supported agency.

In 2011 Damon Pfaff and Marcel DaCosta secured a United Way of Peel Region and Region of Peel, Youth in Action Grant. Their idea was to give the youth of Peel a chance. A chance to be all that they could be through B Boy dancing. This is the RHYTHM project.

Now, in their second year, and with a second consecutive grant, their aim is to take the RHYTHM project to all new heights and give more youth access to this art form.

The Fish Project was a one day workshop targeting high school students in Peel Region regarding the issues of youth action and philanthropy.

This initiative revolves around the ancient idea: “give a man a fish and he eats for a day; teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.” Good Movement, along with our granters United Way of Peel Region, The Region of Peel and our sponsoring organization Rapport Youth & Family Services collaborated to give a truly unique experience to a few lucky high school students, giving them the tools they needed to make a difference in their community.

The YMCA of Greater Toronto in Brampton welcomes volunteers for the United Way of Peel Region 2012 Spring Day of Caring™. Volunteer activities included replanting a garden and taking apart the old children's playground to make way for a new one.

On the United Way of Peel Region's 2012 Spring Day of Caring™, the residents of Peel Senior Link, in Missisauga, welcomed in a surprise group of visitors. Employees from Edward Jones, E.I. duPont Canada Company and Baxter Corporation rolled up their sleeves to spring-clean and grocery shop for these seniors.

Peace Ranch in Caledon welcomes volunteers for the United Way of Peel Region 2012 Spring Day of Caring™. Volunteer activities included a day of fence painting and vegetable garden prepping on the beautiful country farm.

The Peel HIV/AIDS Network welcoming United Way of Peel Region's Day of Caring™ volunteers for a condom and ribbon Pack-a-thon. Volunteers packed condoms and pinned ribbons for the United Way funded agency which is committed to the community education and support of HIV/AIDS in Mississauga, Caledon, and Brampton.
