United Way of Peel Region was established in 1967 to serve the communities of Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. Every program and agency we support is improving social conditions in the region to ensure that each resident can not only survive, but thrive.

We work within the community to improve the lives of individuals and families, strengthen neighbourhoods, and make our community better for everyone. We address the immediate needs of our community and work to identify and remedy the root causes for social issues within our community.

United Way is a volunteer led organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, composed of leading community members. The Board oversees how donations are used, shapes our strategic vision and plan, and monitors organizational performance.

With a strong voice for social change, United Way is strengthening our community, and improving lives. No member of our community is immune to challenges – United Way is here to champion and inspire sustainable change that strengthens community and improves lives.

United Way and its partners, engage with the community to care for, connect with and include everyone. Inclusion, accountability, integrity, collaboration, voluntarism and vision are the main principles behind every action we take – we invite you to join our network and help us build a healthier, more vibrant community.
