United Way is an active partner in the Peel Leadership Centre (PLC). The vision of the Centre is, "A strong, sustainable non profit human services sector in Peel". Its mission is to, "To cultivate, enhance and support the leadership of the non profit human services sector in Peel". The Leadership Centre’s mandate is to provide and facilitate learning opportunities for non-profit human services sector leaders and aspiring leaders through programs, services, resources and events that are local, formal and encourage community engagement
